Your company needs a professional website and you don't know where to start?

In this article I share with you the ideal structure for a small, practical and effective corporate website, which you can apply regardless of the type of business you have.

Home page: the cover letter

The home page should make it clear in seconds who you are, what you do and why they should choose you.
For example, if you have an accounting agency, your header could read:

"Reliable accounting services for small and medium-sized businesses."
If you are a natural products store, you could use something like:
"We take care of your well-being with 100% organic and local products."

Accompany that message with a visible button that invites action: "Request a quote", "View catalog" or "Schedule your consultation". Also include a professional image or video that reflects what you do and shows the most important services in a summarized way.

About us" page: tell your story

This is where you connect emotionally with your visitors. People want to know who is behind the business. Talk about how your company started, what values guide it and what your purpose is.
For example:

"We started in 2019 with the goal of helping other entrepreneurs strengthen their digital presence through affordable and customized web solutions." Add a photo of the team or founder and briefly mention key accomplishments. It doesn't have to be a long text, just authentic and human.

Services or products page

This section is key because it explains what you are really selling.
Describe each service in simple language, focusing on the benefits to the customer.

  • Business consulting: project a professional and modern image that inspires confidence in your clients.

Add clear action buttons such as "Request a quote" or "More information".

Testimonials or success stories page

Nothing generates more trust than real experiences.
Post comments or reviews from satisfied customers, even if at the beginning you only have two or three.
You can add WhatsApp screenshots or thank you emails, or better yet, short sentences accompanied by the customer's name and company.
For example:

"Thanks to the new website, our inquiries increased by 40%. Excellent service." - Maria Torres, Owner of Farmacia Central.

Contact page

Make contacting you as easy as possible. Include a form, your phone number, email and a direct button to WhatsApp. You can also add a map if you have a physical location or include a message like:

Don't forget to link to your professional social networks. A small SEO detail: use a title like "Contact us | [Name of your company or city]" so that Google relates the page to your location.

Blog or article section

Having a corporate blog helps you to attract visitors from Google and show that you master your field.
Here you can publish content such as:

  • "Tips to improve the health of your skin."
  • "Why your business needs our consulting services."
  • "How to increase sales with a well-structured website."

Each article is a new opportunity to connect with potential customers without spending on advertising.

Privacy policy and terms

This section, although not the most read, conveys professionalism and trust.
If you use forms or analytics tools, it is important to include a clear privacy policy. You can easily generate it and adapt it to your brand to comply with data protection regulations.
